LES Veteran's Day Information

Our Veteran's Day program will be November 7th this year. We will be collaborating with the Middle and High School again to make this another great Veteran's Day event! We will be collecting pictures for our slideshow and inviting veterans to come. Notes were sent home this week to send in pictures and turn in names. If you need another copy of the form, please send a note to your child's teacher.

All of 4th grade will be attending the event this year. They will need permission slips to walk over to the high school to participate. They have been working hard learning songs to sing for our program. ALL 4th grade students must have this form signed in order to participate.  If your child needs another form, please send a note to their homeroom teacher.

Our PreK-3rd grade students WILL also attend the program this year. They will stay on LES campus, stand with their veteran, watch the flag raising, and say the pledge at LES. We will also have opportunities for picture taking at LES. Veterans only will then walk to the middle school to tour their hallways, make their way to the LMS cafeteria for breakfast, and then across the road to the high school gym for our program.  We will bring PreK-3rd grade students to the high school gym to watch the program.  They will stay in the stands with a teacher.
