Hi parents, guardians, students, faculty and staff. I am extremely excited to serve as an assistant principal at LES. This will be my 29th year in education, I am extremely passionate about educating and guiding our scholars in the right direction. I am married with three children and one granddaughter. I taught 10 years in Plaquemines Parish at Boothville-Venice High School (9 years), Belle Chasse Middle (1 year), and moved to Tangipahoa Parish after Hurricane Katrina.
My philosophy of education is to treat every child as though they are my own, which ensures that I want the best for them as I would for my own children.
I am looking forward to many exciting years at LES and looking forward to helping our scholars reach insurmountable goals and achievements.
My favorite quote is:
"Be the change you wish to see in the world." Mahatma Ghandi

Welcome Message
Hello everyone. I am excited to be a part of a great team here at LES. I attended Southeastern Louisiana University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. I then attended Lamar University graduating from there with a Master of Education degree with an emphasis in educational leadership. I enjoyed my time as a musical educator at Hammond Westside Montessori before becoming an Assistant Principal at Loranger High School. I now have the privledge to be Assistant Principal at Loranger Elementary School.
My desire for Loranger Elementary School is that I may help to create an environment in which students feel safe, are able to learn effectively, and have the opportunity to enjoy their time while in elementary school.
